Not sure if there's any connection here but my wife's grandfather John Henry Briscoe (b.1887 Kansas) moved from Kansas to Saskatchewan, Canada in about 1915. His wife was Hazel Izola Rounds (b.1896 WI). John had a brother Clarence and a sister Nellie. John's mother was Sarah Jane Kirk (nee Sheffield)
