Presently, I live in Upper Marlboro MD. My Grand Father (James T. Briscoe was born in Washington DC. My Great Grandfather was also named James Briscoe; however, he was called Sam. Sam walked to Washington DC from St. Mary County, MD. My Great Grandfather (Sam)had (FIVE) boys, (Jame my Grandfather), John, Charles, George and (Nathanial or Matt). All were born in Washington DC.
It would be nice to meet some of my cusins; furthermore, I'm trying to find out if Union Soldier (George Briscoe 1863-65) is my/our Great, Great, Great Grandfather.
