Seeking information on the family of James Briscoe who was in Morgan Co., AL 1830 census. The census shows: 1 male 5-10; 1 male 20-30; 1 female 5-10; 1 female 20-30. Does anyone have any information on this female 5-10? I am trying to identify the parent of a Malinda Briscoe who married Joseph Nearing in Morgan county in 1839. Thomas and William are the only other Briscoes who show up as head of households 1830-1840 in Morgan county. William would have been too young to have had Malinda as his daughter. Descendents of Thomas Brisco say that Malinda was not a daughter of Thomas Brisco and Sarah Hill.
