Hi Gareth and all others interested in the descendants of Hiram Brisbin,

I have a copy of Virginia Hughes book on Hiram Brisbin and Rebecca Rose and all their descendants known as of the year 2000. It is quite extensive and there is a whole chapter dedicated to William Henry. BTW Virginia is still with us!

For copies of specific chapters and some updated information, please contact me at

I am a Rose family descendant. The Rose's, Brisbin's, and Kammerer families of Westmoreland/Allegheny counties, PA moved to the Dubuque/Jackson counties of IA (they seem to have been quite fond of owning land on either side of the county lines) and then onward to SD.
