Adm. to Melchior FRITZ and his wife Anna Maria, late the widow of said intestate.

Diedendorf is the church and Kirrberg is the village in Bas Rhin, alsace, FranceDiedendorf Reformed KB:
Jacob Brion, miller at Kirberg, son of Abraham Brion, married 6 Feb, 1706, (problem with dob) Maria Jouin,
daughter of Jean Jouin. (In one record, her maiden name is given as Schwing). They had
the following children:
l. Peter Paul bp 14 November 1706
2. Abraham, bp 31 October 1708
3. Abraham bp 8 Jan 1710 *emigrated 1741

LOT OLDER THAN HUSBAND.
Just as the village names in this area have both a German and French spelling (vis.
Vinstinger=Fenetrange) so, too, the surnames: Vautrin appears in some of the area records
as Wodring; Brodt as Du Pain, Dupin and Pain; JOIN AS LONGJOIN, JOING AND
SCHWING. These names provided just a few examples. Others appear in the individual
family entries in the main text.
