Thank you, Ms. Peck, for William's death certificate. My grandfather, Dr. Shepard Emmitt Brinson did not have a daughter named Clara. She had to be William's wife. He and Selina Virgina Moore Brinson had my great-aunt, Eunice Shepard Brinson, who married Charles Hall from Elizabethtown, North Carolina, my great-uncle William, about whom I know nothing, and my grandmother, Cynthia Valley Brinson, born in 1883 and eloped at age 16 in 1899, so she doesn't appear on the 1880 or 1900 census as living in Dr. Brinson's household. The 1890 census was destroyed, so we have to piece together what info we have. I really appreciate your assistance in tracing my great-uncle William.
