I have a great grandmother named Mary E. Brinson that married my grandfather Burel Powell in 1881. I find her on a census listed as a widow the year before. She would have been 32 when she married my grandfather, which was kind of old in those days. I have found records of a Mary E Edwards that married a William Brinson in 1866. Do you have info on a William Brinson who possibly died prior to 1880 and was married to a Mary E. in 1866? This would have been in Duplin,Pender, or New Hanover counties of NC
