You are absolutely right. According to the information I have, Jenkins County, Georgia, was formed in August, 1905 from lands taken from Bulloch, Burke, Emanuel and Screven counties. Add to that the fact that Millen is the only locatity that actually exists in Jenkins County, it makes one wonder why the county was created in the first place.
