Karen, Sorry, I think we're on a different page concerning our ancestors. My John Brinson was born abt. 1775, maybe in Virginia. He married Belinda Taylor in Madison County, KY, December 8, 1795. His daughter Temperance married my maternal grgrgrandfather Amos Chaney in Pulaski County, KY. There is a great homepage at www.familytreemaker.com on the Hargis'. You may be able to make a connection there. When you bring up the page, type in George Hargase. It is a huge homepage, so you'll have to do a lot of clicking and scrolling to get down to the late 1800's. Hope this helps,
