I have been researching Jacksons for several years and just found that Gabriel Jackson's wife was Rebecca Brinson, daughter of Mathew Brinson whose grandfather came to Berkeley County from north of Myrtle Beach c. 1800. Therefore, I have been researching Brinson/Brunsons to see if I can get any connections to my research.

I have a Thomas W. Brinson, no dates, married to his cousin, Mary Elizabeth Brinson, born 1803. He is the son of Mathew Brinson, jr. and the brother of Rebecca mentioned above.

Thomas and Rebecca had another sister, Frances Caroline, who married James Sutler. I have done very little research on Frances and Thomas but have all known descendents of Rebecca.

Gabriel's second wife, Laura Meeks married W. P. Brunson after Gabriel's death.

Have lots of info on Brunsons, too, who are also descended from Brinsons.

Also have family of Thomas' wife, Mary Elizabeth.
