Hello Everyone,
I'm searching for the death date of Mary Brinsmade CHURCH born 28 Mar 1854, Washington, Litchfield, Connecticut, USA and died after 1913.
I've posted to the BRINSMADE list because Mary is the great neice of Mary Wakeman GOLD and Daniel BRINSMADE.
Mary is the daughter of Henry J. CHURCH born 1826, Connecticut and Eleanor Susan BOUDINOT born 04 MAY 1827, Cherokee Nation, East, Georgia and died 20 AUG 1856, Washington, Litchfield, Connecticut.
Henry and Eleanor had 3 children:
1-Mary Boudinot Church b. 26 JUL 1850 Washington Litchfield, CT, d. 30 JUL 1850 Washington, CT
2-Mary Brinsmade Church, info above
3-Franklin Boudinot Church b. 19 JUL 1856, d. 27 OCT 1856
Henry J. Church married 2nd, Sarah B. COOK and had 3 children:
William Church b. 07 NOV 1858 d.
Edward S. Church b. 22 MAY 1863
Frederick G. Church b. 19 FEB 1865
Henry J. Church married 3rd, Lorena born abt 1845 Ohio
I do have census records for the years 1860, 1880, 1900, 1910.
In 1999 I received a CHURCH genealogy report from Mr. Richard Church that includes more info.
In 1913 Mary Brinsmade Church wrote an article about her grandfather, History of Elias Boudinot by his Granddaughter, Mary Brinsmade Church, Washington, CT, 1913. That is the last I know of her.
I have surfed the Internet, Ancestry.com and the LDS and Litchfield cemeteries and have NOT found her death date.
Some of her family is buried in the Washington Cemetery (on the Green) in Washington, Litchfield, CT. I would only assume that she is buried there. The last census info I have is 1910, Washington Town, Washington, Litchfield, CT. She is 56 years of age, never married, and is living with her step-mother, Lorena.
