I show a Henry Brinkley b. 1857, as the son of Solomon Brinkley b.1817 and Mourning Hurdle b.1840. Not sure how accurate this data is as it would have Mourning Hurdle as only 12 years old when her first child, Joseph Brinkley, was born in 1852.

They were of African descent, in Gates County, NC.
