I am looking for the Brinkley family members that may live in the Johnson City, Tenn and Florida area. The family members that I know about are James “Jimmy” Brinkley (Florida), Janie Brinkley (possibly North Carolina), Bill Rushing (Johnson City), and Charles Brinkley. I am the mother of Scott Babb’s child. Scott was the son of Charles Brinkley, and Nephew of James Brinkley. Scott was adopted by Mable “Brinkley” Babb and Earl Babb. I have not heard from Scott in 15 years and recently found out that he passed away on June 2007. My son’s name is Vincent and is almost 16 years old. I tried to find Scott 10 years ago, and even paid someone to try and find him but was unable. The last seven years I have been searching on the internet to find articles, police reports, etc., and that is when I found the article of Scott’s death. My mother had the idea of posting on family history websites. I have been able to recently make contact with the Babb’s and they provided me some insight about Scott’s side of the family with the Brinkley’s. My son desperately wanted to know his father, and now he never will. If anyone knows this family, please contact me at sandralynn34@gmail.com. I would like to receive some pictures of Scott and his family, so that my son may have it. Mable Babb passed away a few months ago, so I have no other link to Scott’s family members. I would appreciate any help.
