This is to announce that a few Brinkley's have started a Brinkley DNA Project. WE would like as many Brinkley's as possible to join us in our search for our common ancestor. You can access the site www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/b/brinkley to find out some of the initial results. We have three participants at this time who have matched 36 out of 37 markers. This site also will show the lineages of the group and how to join in the project. We have found that the Brinkley line comes from a small area in the North Carolina and Virginia area of the early America.If you have any questions feel free to contact me at Jbrinkley3@sbcglobal.net
