Jim --

I'm tracing Frances Brinkley's line, and would be especially grateful if you have any information on her oldest daughter Patsey, and her son John, who married Nancy Wood. I saw a transcription of Frances' will, in which she refers to her daughter "Patsey Hall." So far, I have not been able to make this Hall connection.

I have John and Nancy marrying in 1806 in Rowan Co. NC. Supposedly, their oldest child was William. Would you have a birth date for William? Also, you mention that you believe Frances was married to a "Richard Brinkley." I've only heard this from one other person. All of the trees on the internet that I've been looking at on Ancestry.com list Frances as having been married to "William." I would really appreciate any information you could share with me which leads you to believe that he is "Richard."

Thanks for any thoughts/information you may have.
Tracy Hall
