Searching for an A. B. Brinkley, married Esther Stewart Coy Goodson in July 1877, Lamar County, Texas. His family was probably from Mississippi,Louisiana or Arkansas before coming to Texas. He may have gone to Indian Territory. His son Robt. B. Brinkley was living with my great grandparents Isaac Jefferson and Ida Louvenia Stewart Bailey in 1900. Esther died in 1897. Esther is buried in Center Cem. in Center, Ponotoc Co., Indian Territory as Ester Allen. 1900 Chickasaw Nation Census shows him with Isaac and Ida in Ada, Ponotoc Co. Indian Terr. Also Robert married a Mrs Carrie Moody later in 1900, at age 19.
