CHRISS A. BRINKLEY Chriss A. Brinkley, 53, of Roswell died unexpectedly on January 20, 2006 of heart failure. Chriss is survived by his wife Lisa, children Sean, Heather, Christina and Stephen, 4 grandchildren, his parents, Clif and Ellen Brinkley and sisters Bonnie Seals and Mimi Deupree. Chriss attended Stone Mountain High School and joined the Air Force in 1972 retiring after 22 years with the rank of Captain. During his military service, Chriss attended Auburn University, graduating with degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science at which time he was promoted to officer status. Following retirement, Chriss took up a second career as the Senior Program Manager, Office Technology at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. During and after his military career, Chriss and his family enjoyed traveling the world, visiting many countries throughout 4 continents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brinkley Children's Education Fund, 3192 Arbor Ridge, Atlanta, Ga. 30340. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 - 8:30 on Monday, January 23rd at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors in Roswell; funeral services will be held at Kingswood Methodist Church in Dunwoody on Tuesday, January 24th at 2:00. Graveside services will be held at New Home Methodist Church in Fyffe, Alabama on Thursday, January 26th at 3:00. Chriss was a beloved husband and father, son, brother and friend.
