As a child, I remember a "Doc" Brinkley of Arkansas who advertised the supposed wonders of goat glands as a cure-all for many ailments.
I think he was exposed as a charlatan.
He had acquired quite a following and ran for governor of Arkansas and lost.
I am surprised to see nothing about him posted here.
I have no connection but thought you Brinkleys might be interested.
