Was your Martha Brinkley married to a William Robert Toliver by any chance? They were my gggrandparents. I am just beginning to find out something about them. In fact, I just located these names in the last few days. I know that they were married in Rutherford Co TN in 1855. And they had at least one son who was my ggrandfather. He was born in Rutherford Co TN Jan. 19, 1862. He moved to Hamilton Co TX at some time and married Susie Baker. Their son, Walter Dowel Tolliver was my grandfather. I would be very interested to know if the people you wrote about were the same as mine .
