Researching the Samuel BRINGHAM family. Samuel married Sarah Neilson , daughter of John Neilson, in Randolph co. W.VA on 19 Aug.1794. Samuel may have had a sister named Jenny BRINGHAM who married Aaron Richardson in 1795 Randolph co. W.VA. Children of Sarah and Samuel BRINGHAM included: (1.) John BRINGHAM b. 18 Mar. 1797 Laura Hill VA died 1849 in Tippecanoe co. IN. (2.) Elizabeth BRINGHAM who married a HEATLY (3.) Jane BRINGHAM who married Peter CASTER, (4.) Jesse BRINGHAM who was father to John Nelson, F.J., Martha Ellen, Jesse Clark, Mary Jane and Rebecca Emeline, (5.) Nelson BRINGHAM , (6.) Levi BRINGHAM , (7) Samuel Martin BRINGHAM who married Nancy Ann Blackmore and had three children Wm, Mary, and Samuel Martin jr., (8.) Rachel BRINGHAM b. ca 1810 who married Thomas BILDERBACK, (9.) Aaron BRINGHAM , and (10) Isaiah BRINGHAM who married a LYNCH and died in 1855. Sarah and Samuel Bringham resided in Hamilton co. IN in 1825 when they purchased land in Tippecanoe co. IN.
