I am following a Leah Breinnig who would seem to fit the Leah Stephenson of your post, based on her age and her maiden name.
I first run into a Leah Breinnig when she marries a Jacob T. Wikoff on 30 Jan 1836 in Fountain County, Indiana. Neither "Leah" nor "Breinnig" are common names, so the possibility that my Leah and your Leah are the same person merits follow-up.
Additionally, the will of Jacob Wikoff's brother-in-law in 1834 directed that one of his young children was to be raised by "Grandfather and Grandmother Stevens". I am unaware of any Stevens, Stevenson or Stephenson in the families I am following, so the combination of "Leah Breinnig" and the name "Stephenson" caught my eye.
I may be grasping at straws, but do you think that there is any possible link here?
