ELIZABETH BRINEY b. 1810 in Ohio, daughter of DANIEL C. BRINEY and CATHERINA WEITZEL.
ELIZABETH married EDWARD GIVENS from VA on May 25, 1828 in Ohio. Together they had ten children from 1828 to 1849: JOHN C. F., JAMES or DANA, JEREMIAH, JONATHAN, MATILDA , CATHERINE, ELIZABETH, CHRISTENA , EMELINE , and IDALINE.
