Anyway, my grandmother was a Brindley, so I will start there and go backward with what I have. Florence Brindley 1900 (1902?) - 1980 daughter of: John Henry (Harry) Brindley 1876 - 1905 and Ellen Alfrida Backstrom 1877 to 1960 (Ellen was born in Sweden) Harry was killed by a train while working in Illinois His siblings were Benjamin Isaac 1873 - 1913 Susan Jane 1874 - 1875 Lewis Edward 1878 - 1908 William Sherman 1880 - ? Francis Nelson 1882 - ? Grover Cleveland 1884 - 1961 Burton 1886 Allen George Thurman 1888 - 1961 The above information was obtained from a family bible in the possession of C.Brindley Their parents were: John Calhoun Brindley 1840 - 1895 Mary Louisa Ida Frazier 1854 - 1925 Family lore indicates that Mary was indian, nobody I talked to knew her maiden name. I found her in Henry County and traced her back to the Fraizers of Scotland. There is a book written about Francis Henry Frazer, she's not in it, but I am certain that it's her family. Her parents were Levi and Deborah. John Calhoun Brindley was first married to Mariam Warner. She was killed by a horse shortly after their marriage. John Calhouns parents were: Isaac Brindley ca 1818 Susan Jones ca 1819 Isaacs parents were probably Benjamin Brindley ca 5 Feb 1793 - 21 Dec 1874 Mary Cade ca 1801 they were married 3 November 1814 They were listed (as living next door) on the 1850 Census in Morgan County Ohio with the following: Isaac age 33 Susan age 28 John age 10 Henry age 8 Margaret age 4 Russell age 1 I believe that Benjamins fathers name was Henry. There is some information about them in Brookfield Twp.
