Sue,

My husband, Talley, is a Brim and was born and raised here in Ga. The story about the Creek Indians has been going around here too. In Macon, Ga. at the Dempsey Hotel there is a mural in the lobby that depicts Emperor Brim. I have never heard of Old Brim. I do believe there is a connection since the Creek Indians were native to this area. I'm not sure if any of this helps you but maybe so.
