Hello John, as you likley already know, your JOspeh Allen Brimm had a brother named Thomas S Brim. Thomas has several children, the youngest was named George. George married Amanda Harris in Dyer County, TN in 1852. They had 3 Children Jenny, Jerry Thomas and Jessie. Jerry Thomas Brim was my GGrandfather.

George and Amanda divorced, George remarried a Martha Elizabeth Smith, and moved across the river to Dunklin County, Mo. I know they had a daughter named Sarah, but there could have been another child.

I know that some of the other Brimms also moved to Missouri.

So, we are distant cousins, and I can fill you in more on my line, and we can compare notes. I got quite a lot of info from one Joseph Horned. I too found the connection to Devonshire, but I'd like to get a bit more proof.

Hope to talk to you soon.

Robert D Mumford
