I'm also researching BRIM name in this area (Patrick, Carroll, Floyd, etc.). From what I've seen the family name came from England via Norfolk area and migrated across the southern VA/northern NC line to Henry/Patrick/Carroll/Grayson area.

I'm looking for details for: Hamon BRIM and Susannah (Carroll) of whom Hilery Deskin BRIM was born (Carroll) who married Elizabeth R. Marshall of whom Elitha was born. Elitha was my wife's Gmother.

I'll bet that there's a connection somewhere in this area of the BRIM name.
