Don't know if this will help or not, but there was a Monroe Brim in Dyer County, TN in 1920. You can see it here: http://www.rootsweb.com/~tndyer/1920census/1920dist17.html He does not appear at this time to be close kin to my Brimms who were there at the same time. (unless his full name was Jessie Monroe Brimm, which I do not know.) Also, Cannon County is close to Williamson County, which was home to John Brim (1776 - 1848) who left a lot of descendents. I think all of his male children wound up in MO, ARk, & Texas, but some grandchildren likely stayed in TN. Good luck Notify Administrator about this message?
