GGreatgrandfather James Richard BRIMM was born abt 1815/1825 Rockingham Co., NC. Believe parents were Joseph BRIMM and Mary Unknown.
Joseph BRIMM is found in 1820 Rockingham Co., NC living next to Richins BRIMM. In 1830 census he is living next to William Duncan. Believe Joseph is a relative of the John Brame family. Other BRIMM names located on census are John, Rice, Richins Sr., James, Jason and Raliegh.
Joseph BRIMM is found in the 1840 Calloway Co., KY census living by James McCuiston. In the 1850, his wife Mary BRIMM is living in this area, assume Joseph is now deceased.
James Richard BRIMM is found in 1850 census KY living alone.
In the 1860 Calloways Co., KY census James Richard BRIMM is now living next to Wm Nowlin who Elizabeth BRIMM and Mary BRIMM are residing. James family is listed as wife Mary A F SMITH b: abt 1832, married abt 1850. Childern were:
William C. BRIMM-----B: 17 Nov 1852

Missouri J BRIMM-----B: 26 Oct 1854
Piety BRIMM---------B: 29 Mar 1858
----(Also living with them are childern by earlier marriage or sister/brothers)
James L. BRIMM ------B: abt 1850
Mary E. BRIMM ------B: abt 1845

A. L. BRIMM---------B: Jan 1860
Elias Cisero BRIMM---B: 1 Dec 1863
Robert L. BRIMM -----B: Feb 1871 in AR
Annie W. BRIMM ------B: Feb 1871 in AR
Ollie A BRIMM -------B: May 1873 in AR
I would love to share information with other BRAME/BRIMM/BRIM family researchers. Have more information on family after James BRIMM moved to Washington Co., AR, and childern moved to OK and WA.
