In 1850 census Sauk co., WI Egbert Brill is 31 a Blacksmith born NY with wife Almira/Elmira age 28, and children Harriet, Thomas,and C.M.
Then in 1860 they are Wilton, Monroe Co., WI. Egbert age 48, almira 38, Harriet 18, Thomas 15, cornwall 14, Armenia 10 and Emma 8.
Can not find then in 1870 Census.
1880 Egbert B. Brill is Oberlain, Lorin, Ohio with wife Elmira P and this census has her born CT. and Elmira J 30 born WI.
Their son "C. M.-Cornwall-William Brill should be still in Wi. in 1880, but can not find him. In 1900 Census he is Berlin, GreenLake, WI with wife Jane born about 1854, NY and 1920 census still in Berlin. In 1920 Jane A. is a widow and living with her Emma Hoedner age 20.
I am trying to find a connection with a Finn family in Berlin, WI. or a Doty family. Since Egbert Brill seem to move around alot others may be looking for his family. Do not know where in NY he lived before WI.
