Yes, I wrote some info down about a Maurice and actually asked a gal to send me some info on him.I copied it and have it on file.I was assuming he was related as a distant cousin, also.
See, you have not come across a William from back then and I have not come across an Abraham from that time frame either.I don't know what census reports you use, but in the 1860, 1870,1880, and 1900, I have found William, living in Michigan;in the genealogy.com reports.I could not find him nor his wife in 1910, so assumed they passed away between 1900 and 1910, as they were born in 1823 and 1834.
Since we do not line up except from distant cousins, do you have any suggestions as to where I can find any more Brigstock info from before 1850? You said you had some info on the motto, crest, and so on.I'd be happy to send you any information I have on this side of the family, if you are interested in adding such distant connections. It has been quite frustrating trying to find stuff on the Brigstocks....But,now I know why...with only 4 brothers coming here, takes a while to get the family populated and spread out.
Please, we must keep in touch with this and could possibley be able to help one another. You seem to have more then I, but I am an avid looker!!!! I love to dig.
I have Maurice in the 1920 census, with parents as Albert E. and Mable. He was 16 at this time. Same Maurice?
