Hello Norman,

I would love to speak with about the Reynold Brightwell you speak of having a Will in 1702. Do you have a copy? I am presently working on confirming my ties and at point I am almost 100% sure that I am would be a 8th Generation Brightwell going back to Reynold of King William Co. born around 1734. I have seen his Will of 1804 that ties me to a Charles Sr. who fought in the American Revolutionary War.
I would love to see how may be we can connect the two. If the Reynold you speak of that you state was born in 1664 and can be proven we then show this line back for over 340 years in America. At the time of my birth in 1951 I was the first of our line to be born outside the wonderful State of Virginia and it would be wonderful to make this other connection. My thanks to all that may be able to help.
