Dear Gil, My husband's great-grandfather was James Leonard Brightwell. They moved to Oenaville, Texas, five miles from Temple, in the early 1900's. He and his wife are buried in the Oenaville cemetary. He died in 1922. His sister also lived with them, her name was Amanda. Several of his sons lived there, too. My husband's grandfather settled around Shawnee, Oklahoma but a three of the sons, Claude, Burton and Olee went to California. I would like to see this picture. The Brightwells had distinctive looks; like clefts in the chin. I think we could tell if he is a relative. You can contact me at [email protected]. Thanks, Imogean Brightwell.
