Hi Keith,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
A few descendants that I have corresponded with over the internet in the past few years and as of recent have came to the conclusion, as I have too, through the process of elimination that Enoch Benjamin BRIGHTWELL'S, (the 1st), parents were William BRIGHTWELL and Mary "Polly" YOUNG who married 1800 in Prince Edward Co., VA.
Enoch B. BRIGHTWELL, I, died in 1884, at Rocky Fork, Kanawha Co., WV. There is a death record that does exist of him, but, unfortunately his parents were not listed on it. He also left a will that named his spouse and all of his children.
I know that he a tobacco farmer from a story that a Granddaughter of his had wrote of the BRIGHTWELL family that I have in my possession.
I live very near to where Enoch brought his family to settle at Kanawha Two-Mile Creek.
Thank you for your help. And if there is any genealogyhelp that you may need and that I may be able to assist you with, just let me know.
