Thanks for your reply. I wasn't clear in my reply about which John Brigham was Georgianna's father. Hannah Barber did marry a John Brigham, son of James Brigham. They had a son, John H. Brigham (ca 1802-1867) who married Mary A. Ellis (ca 1816-aft 1870). A letter from Hannah Barber Brigham had stated that their son John H. had married Mary A. Ellis in June 1835.
I have no proof that Georgianna was the daughter of John H. and Mary A. (Ellis) Brigham, except the 1860 census is a strong indication of this. It shows John, 55; Mary, 40; Georgianna, 18; and Nancy ELLIS, 34. Mary, Georga (female), and Nannie Ellis are also in the same household in 1870.
