You are just the person I am looking for...My main line is Shelbys...John Shelby Junior married Elizabeth Brigham, dtr of James and Louisa (Looney) Brigham in Sullivan Co. TN & before that Wash. co. VA,,,there was a David Looney around them...what kin?..They had a dtr Louisa Looney Shelby who married Dr. Jesse Atherton Brunson; he died she moved to Arkansas with her sons most of whom were doctors in Arkansas. Help?
Did his father, Capt. John Shelby, marry another Louisa Looney, dtr of Thomas, bro of James???
