See Appendix D to The History of the Brigham Family,by W. I. Tyler Brigham, The Grafton Press, New York 1907. Brigham Young's father's wife sister married Phineas Brigham. He was apparently christened after this Brigham aunt. However, there is not blood relation to our family. Happy hunting-George in Virginia.
