Just caught your note regarding looking for the Elden Brigham book. I did a search at my favorite book search site (http://www.bookfinder.com/)and found 3 copies available from $25.00 to $30.00 - there were 2 available at $25.00 at Tuttle Books in Rutland VT. I've ordered other books through the Bookfinder sight - and know of Tuttle - and would feel safe ordering on-line (and these are a lot cheaper than having Higginson reprint them!). Elden also wrote a history of the town of Emerald, MI
Sue - a descendent of Thomas & Mercy through the Shrewsbury/Worcester, MA branches (and a fellow W PA resident)
