March 21, 1743 George Briggs and his wife Sarah of Albermarle Parish in Surry County sell 465 acres on the south side of the Meherrin River to Howell Briggs. The land was patented to George Briggs in 1726. The land was on the south side of the Meherrin River and the east side of Beaver Pond Creek in Brunsick. It was bounded by Richard Moore. Witnesses were John Scott, Sterling Clack, and Robert Jones, Jr. Notify Administrator about this message?
