I am a VERY distant relative of Justus Briggs; his father, George Washington Briggs, was the brother of my ggrandfather. Justus Briggs has been a roadblock for me -- he died relatively young (40), and was a tea merchant who spent time in Japan. Please contact me at briggsp@citadel.edu. Thank you so very much.
