I have no direct knowledge of Henry, however I did have some Briggs cousins in the Bath area in that time period. Certain members of the Morse family were big ship builders there. Charles W. Morse built steel hulled ships (destroyers, cruisers) at Bath and had an ice monopoly called American Ice Company which he operated from New York City. (Much of the ice was taken from rivers in Maine.)
My great grandfather James Morse married one Rebecca Jane Briggs. They were from the Bath / Brunswick, Maine area.
