Well, it has been a long time since my original post ... actually, the Almira(h) Briggs you are looking for may be the same as a person I've been brick-walled on for years.
The fact that she was born around 1810 and probably in West Greenwich means she may be the daughter (or gdaughter)of Anderson BRIGGS, who was born ~1756 and died probably before 1840. He fought in the Rev. War, and Almirah is listed as one of those claiming benefits from his pension. From the pension information I calculate her birthday as April 7, 1807. I know of the George Keach - Almirah Briggs marriage, but I've never been able to find a sure connection to this Almirah.
