I'm looking for the first husband of Nancy Ann Briggs b. 1929 in Chicago. She was living in Elyria, Ohio at the time of her marriage. Her husband left for the European Theater two weeks after they were married. Nancy's father's name was Russell Ainsley Briggs and she had a younger brother named Russell Jr., nicknamed Jeff. Nancy's marriage and annulment records have been lost or destroyed. Supposedly, Nancy's husband was from Cleveland and was possibly a student at Oberlin College.
