Debra, The lineage of your Alexander F. Brigance is as follows -- David Brigance (Prior to 1770, PA? - ca 1820, TN)/Charles Newton Brigance (1793,TN-1885, TX)/Franklin Brigance (1818, TN-1865, TX)/Alexander Franklin Brigance (1852, TX-1923, TX).
W.L was William Lewis. There may have been a daughter, Mildred, who died in 1909.
Several hundred of David's descendants are included in Brigance Genealogy, Vol. 1.
