The Twenty-First National Brigance Reunion will be at Olive Branch, MS, Sept. 30 & Oct. 1, 2000. This reunion will be hosted by the descendants of William Melvin Brigance. It will be held at the Olive Brancy City Park on Sunday, Oct. 1. The group will begin gathering at the park at 10:30 a.m. The park is located on Goodman Road one block east of the Comfort Inn (between Hwy 78 and downtown Olive Branch).
Potluck lunch will be at the park at 12:30 p.m.
Those coming from out-of-town will begin checking into the Comfort Inn, Sat. afternoon (9/30). This Inn has proven to be an ecellent place to stay. It is located at the junction of Hwy # 78 & Goodman Road (Hwy 302) (Also7049 Enterprise Dr.) Olive Branch, MS. Call (601) 895-0456 for reservations. Reservations can also be made on the 800 number (633-4100).
In case reservations are not available at the Comfort Inn, there is a new Hampton Inn across the Highway from the Comfort Inn.
The group will gather at the Comfort Inn at 5:30 pm to go for dinner (at a location to be determined).

The Twenty-Second National Brigance Reunion is Tenatively Scheduled at Waldron, AR, June 23 & 24, 2001. This reunion will again be hosted by the descendants of John Henry Brigacne (1840-1920).
The group will begin gathering at 1:30 p.m. at the Cypress Barn Restaurant and Lodge. The Cypress Barn Res. and Lodge is located on Hwy 71 (Waldron By-pass and Junction of 71 and 80).
Tours to family cemeteries will depart at 2:30 pm from the Cypress Barn.
Some of the group will be attending (and performing at) the popular "Turkey Track" (a bluegrass music festival south of Waldron.
Sunday morning breakfast is at your leeisure and on your own -- hopefully with "new found cousins".
An informal time of sharing and discussing Brigance history & genealogy will begin at 9:30 a.m. (probably at the Fairground Building, if available).
Pot luck lunch is scheduled for 12:30 pm.
More information will be posted when all plans are final.
