Twenty-Sixth National Brigance Reunion Scheduled at Waldron, AR, June 18 & 19, 2005 This reunion will be hosted by the descendants of John Henry Brigance (1840, TN-1920, AR).

Saturday (18th): The group will begin gathering at 1:30 p.m. at the Nordic Inn (formerly Cypress Barn Lodge). The Nordic Inn is located on Hwy. 71 (Waldron By-pass and Junction of Hwy 71 and 80). Reservation can be made at the Nortic Inn by calling 1-479-634-3451.

Cemetery Tours: The tour to the Taylor Cemetery will depart from the Nordic Inn at 2:30. The Taylor Cemetery is where John H. & Mary Ann (Tipton) (Musgrove) Brigance and several of their descendants are buried. On the way to and from the cemetery this tour will include stops at several landmarks in the Tate community where the Brigances settled and have lived since the Civil War.
Tentatively, we are planing a second tour to the Duncan Cem-etery located in the south part of Waldron were several Brigances are buried. Dennis hopes to have a Civil War Marker placed at the grave of Redmond R. Brigance (brother of John Henry) by then.

Saturday Evening: The group will meet for dinner at Judy’s Hwy 71 Diner between 5:00 and 5:30.
Following dinner some of the group will be attending (and performing at) the popular “Turkey Track” (bluegrass music festival) south of Waldron. Others can spend the evening visiting with “cousins”.

Sunday (22nd): Sunday morning breakfast is at your leisure and on your own. Why not invite a “cousin” or two to join you?

Genealogy Sessions: A one-hour session on several updates and research topics is planned for this year. Time will be allowed for questions of interest to those in attendance. If you have questions or topics you would like to have included on the discussion agenda, please let Al or Dennis Brigance know.
