The passing of Monte Clyde Brigance

Monte Clyde Brigance, b.8-31-32, son of Lonnie Clyde Brigance, a descendant of John Brigance, passed away February 18, 2004 at 5:25pm after a short battle with cancer. Monte was a Korean war veteran and served in the U.S.Navy aboard LST-516. Monte was an outboard motor mechanic, a trapper,a shrimper, an oysterman, a hunter for food when his children were young and an operator at chemical plants. Monte could fix anything that was fixable and build anything that was buildable.
Left behind are his brother Doyce Blaine Brigance, his children, Cheryl Ann, Donna Lynn and Monte Glenn, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was a good man. I miss you Daddy.
