War of 1812 NARA research

Hi all,

I sent forms to NARA to get War of 1812 information on the following:

Stuart Briggance
William Briggance
Nicholas Briggance
John Brigance
John Briggance
David Brigance
George S. Brigance
Charles Briggance

Very sadly, my forms came back saying that they could find NO information on any of these individuals for this War. Personally, the NARA website is a bit confusing, so I hope I filled out the right form and asked for the right information, according to what their website says you should do. If anyone is really familiar with NARA research, could you email me so I might find out if there is anything else I can do to get some kind of information on these folks?
