John, I am the great-grandaughter of John Henry and Mary Ann (Polly) Tipton Brigance.
My lineage goes back through John M, (Monroe?), TN: ca 1802 -1866 to James, NC: ca 1775, to John, TN: ca pre-1750 to 1798.
Do you have this lineage? If so, do you have it back past John, 1750? I would love to know when the Brigances came to America and from where.
Any help would be appreciated and I would gladly give you any information I might have that you don't have. You can e-mail me if you do have the earlier ancestors.
