Brigances in Pennsylvania

In the mid 1700's we find the records listed below for what would appear to be Brigances in Cumberland Co., PA.
1. David BRIGGAN's marriage to Elizabeth Allison in 1761
and David Briggance on the 1763 Tax List.
2. John Briggans on the 1753 Tax List and John Briggance
and John Briggance on the 1763 Tax List.
3. Robert Brigance on the 1753 Tax List.

Does any one have information documenting as to
a. Where they were from? (i.e. Huguenots for Europe or
So. Carolina?)
b. What happened to them? (i.e. Did any remain in PA or
are they the Brigance Clan we find in the Cumberland
Settlement (later Sumner Co., TN) by 1785?)
c. Any additional PA records on this clan.
