Albert..Some info. that you might like and maybe a correction. I just read some mail from a LaMay Adamson, a
Hanson decendent that was written in 1991 to George
shackelford in Brazoria ct. tx. She stated that Susan Ellen
was a dau. of a brother of elias, but did not say which one.
She also said that Charles Newton Brigance was buried in
Robertson Ct. Tx. at the Frankin Cem. The small headstone
reads...C.N. Brigance.Born Sep't 4, 1790.Died May 27, 1885
Also said that Elias wife died in 1872. She said the Elias
was a fine carpenter, cabinet maker and built fine furniture
Most likely my Shackelford family went to Robertson Ct. Tx.
about 1885 and Jesse R. found Susan and got married and
went to Brazoria Ct. Tx. about 1897...Bob Willett
